DYNAMIC MODELLING AND DESIGN PROGRAM FOR WATER NETWORKS


msSu.Net, is a software that performs dynamic modelling and designing of tank, pump, tank-pump networks with single or multiple point sources.

with MsSu.Net ;

• Dynamic modelling can be made with both Steady State Analysis or Extended Period Simulation.

• Superposition projects can be designed.

• Networks with multiple sources can be designed by simulation.

• Status of hydraulic analysis for existing network,

• Time patterns can be used for Extended Period Simulations.

• Opening and closing processes of pipe, valve and pump elements according to the status of network can be done manually or automatically.

• Works with desired units.

• Different scenairos can be created.

• Results of scenairos can be compared and various types of reports can be printed.

• Fire flow can be defined in critical points, added to or taken out from the scenario if desired and sufficiency analysis of network for the condition of fire flow presence can be made.

• Optimization of diameters according to velocity design parameters can be made,

• Designing of both existing and planned pipes can be made at the same time.

• Pump designs with stable and variable speed can be modeled, pump curves can be defined in design.

• Specialized reports with different formats.

• Pipes and valves to be closed according to the hydraulic status of network can be determined by the system

• Bend, node and point details and part list can be created.

• Calibration processes according to the land surveyed data can be done.

• Time dependent variable flow rate calculations and design can be made.

• Water Quality Modelling processes can be done ( chloride analysis, water age, toxic material tracing)

• Simulation results can be followed visually, graphic displays with desired criterias like pressure, velocity and water age can be provided.

• Data transfer can be provided by integration with SCADA system.

• No limit on the number of designed junctions.

• Ground elevation data of node points can be extracted from terrain model.

Technical Data

In msSu.Net module, design and calculation are done by the Gradient Algorithm.

This program runs on the versions of Microstation V8, XM and 8i.
